Perioperative Antibiotikaprophylaxe

Zusammenfassung

Die perioperative Antibiotikaprophylaxe ist definiert als Verabreichung von antimikrobiellen Substanzen ohne Nacheis einer vorbestehenden Infektion. Das Ziel ist, postoperative infektiöse Komplikationen zu vermeiden. Selbstverständlich dürfen Anforderungen an die Asepsis, Antiepsis und der Operationstechnik nicht gemindert werden. Infektionsprävention, Katheterhygiene und geschlossene Harnableitung bleiben Teil der Therapie. In der Urologie sollen insbesondere Infektionen des oberen und unteren Harntraktes (akute Pyelonephritis, fieberhafter Harnwegsinfekt, Prostatitis, Epididymitis, Urosepsis), sowie Wundinfektionen vorgesorgt werden.
