Abstract

Gangliocytoma and ganglioglioma represent a family of rare, slow-growing, neuronal tumors. The term “ganglioglioma” was first introduced by Courville in 1930 to describe the mixed neuronal and glial elements typically seen in this tumor (Courville 1930).
