Part of the book series: The Scientific Papers ((2875,volume A / 3))

Summary

The paradoxical aspects of the quantum-mechanical measuring process continue to provoke numerous discussions, indicating a growing interest in the basic problems of quantum mechanics (1, 2). The purpose of the present note is to clarify our views on this important problem and to contrast them with the views expressed in some recent publications on the same subject (1h, i).
