Zusammenfassung
Definition. Zu den infektassoziierten Arthritiden zählt man die viralen Arthritiden, bakterielle Arthritiden durch Borrelien, gramnegative Darmkeime, Chlamydien und das akute rheumatische Fieber. Die infektassoziierten Arthritiden unterscheiden sich von den rheumatischen Erkrankungen unbekannter Ursache wie der juvenilen rheumatoiden Arthritis dadurch, daß der auslösende Erreger bekannt ist. Von der septischen Arthritis durch Staphylokokken oder Haemophilus influenzae unterscheiden sich die infektassoziierten Arthritiden dadurch, daß es auch ohne antibiotische Therapie nicht zur raschen Zerstörung des Gelenkes kommt.
