Zusammenfassung

Defekte des Purin- und Pyrimidinstoffwechsels sind charakterisiert durch abnorme Konzentrationen von Purinen, Pyrimidinen und ihren Metaboliten in Zellen und Körperflüssigkeiten. Ursache ist eine erhöhte oder erniedrigte Aktivitìt von Enzymen. Die Symptome treten in jedem Alter auf, sie sind sehr variabel.
