Zusammenfassung

Es handelt sich um einen posterolateralen Defekt des Zwerchfells. Die Größe des Defektes variiert sehr stark von schmalen schlitzförmigen Defekten, die teils erst im Säuglingsalter symptomatisch werden, bis zu Defekten, die nahezu als Zwerchfellaplasie zu bezeichnen sind. 90% der Defekte liegen linksseitig.
