Abstract

The prediction and control of turbulent flow separation and reattachment continue to be important in many engineering applications. Although progress is being made in the understanding and prediction of these flows, the accurate and economical calculation of turbulent flows containing regions of recirculation still remains one of the major challenges in the field of computational fluid dynamics.
