Die neurologische Diagnostik ergibt sich zu 80% aus der richtig und gezielt erhobenen Anamnese, zu 20% aus der neurologischen Untersuchung. Zur neurologischen Untersuchung gehören: Inspektion, Untersuchung der Hirnnerven, Prüfung von Motorik und Reflexen, Koordinationsprüfung, Sensibilitätsprüfung, vegetative Funktionsdiagnostik, psychischer Befund, neuropsychologische Diagnostik, Primitivreflexe und Instinkt.
