Die extrakorporale Photopherese ist eine Fortentwicklung der PUVA-Therapie. Die Photochemotherapie wird hier nach Separierung des peripheren Blutes am leukozytenreichen buffy coat vorgenommen, der anschließend retransfundiert wird.
