The parts of this chapter give only a brief outline (partly by only a single example) of the geochemical behavior of Th, especially of those facts that are most important in understanding its geological distribution on earth, see Chapter 1.2, pp. 3/7, and its occurrence in minerals, see Chapter 1.3, pp. 7/21. Largely used are the more recent papers, or compilations, or reference/text books.
