Zusammenfassung
Die Zelle ist die kleinste Organisationseinheit des Lebens. Einfache Lebewesen bestehen aus einer oder mehreren gleichartigen Zellen. Höher entwikkelte Organismen setzen sich aus einer Vielzahl von Zellen zusammen, die arbeitsteilig zusammenarbeiten und dadurch neuartige, einzelnen Zellen nicht immanente Funktionen erfüllen.
