Thoracoscopic Approaches in Spinal Deformities and Trauma

All current concepts in minimally invasive surgery aim at reducing iatrogenic damage to tissues during surgical approaches. Video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) is a new procedure now being used in the spine when an anterior approach is indicated.
