Zusammenfassung
Die moderne Wechselkurstheorie geht davon aus, dlass der Wechselkurs nicht in erster Linie durch die aus Güterströmen resultierende Nachfrage nach Fremdwährung bestimmt wird, sondern durch die Aufteilung von Vermögen auf verschiedene Anlageformen. Vermögensportefeuilles entstehen aus einem zweistufigen Entscheidungsprozess, den man sich anhand von Abbildung 5.1 verdeutlichen kann.
