Abstract

The forsterite laser Mg2 SiO 4:Cr4+ is an effective tunable source in the spectral range 1,15–1,35 μm [l] and it is a subject of interest for a number of researches. The laser in this wavelength range is expected to be useful in medical, diagnostic and laboratory applications.
