Zusammenfassung

Der Begriff “Entwicklungsstörung” hat bisher keine befriedigende Definition erfahren (vgl. Gräser u. Reinert 1980). Hier soll eine solche Definition auch gar nicht versucht werden; der Begriff wird als Sammelbezeichnung für umfassende und umgrenzte Abweichungen in der Entwicklung von Kindern verwendet. Neben klinisch-psychiatrischen Syndromen werden spezifische und generalisierte Lern- und Leistungsstörungen, also die ersten 3 Achsen des mehrdimensionalen Klassifikationsschemas von Rutter et al. (1976a; deutsche Bearbeitung Remschmidt & Schmidt 1977), betrachtet.
