Zusammenfassung

Die Theoriebildung in der Ergotherapie ging bislang von amerikanischen und kanadischen Therapeuten und Akademikern aus. Seitdem die Berufsausbildung nun auch in anderen englischsprachigen Ländern zunehmend an die Universitäten verlagert wird, entwickeln heute insbesondere Therapeuten in Kanada, Australien und England ihre jeweils eigene theoretische Literatur. Leider hatte die Sprachbarriere bislang zur Folge, dass Therapeuten aus anderen Sprachräumen über die Entwicklung von ▸ Theorien und Praktiken in englischsprachigen Ländern weitgehend uninformiert blieben und umgekehrt.
