Zusammenfassung

Die Pleura ist eine seröse Haut, die die Lungen, das Mediastinum, das Zwerchfell und die innere Thoraxwand bedeckt. Das viszerale Blatt umhüllt die Lungen, während die parietale Pleura die innere Thoraxwand, das Zwerchfell und das Mediastinum auskleidet. Am Lungenhilus gehen beide Pleurablätter ineinander über. Der Lungenhilus selbst ist von der mediastinalen (parietalen) Pleura ummantelt, die dorsal des Hilus eine Falte, das Ligamentum pulmonale, bildet.
