Zusammenfassung
Die größte klinische und zahlenmäßige Relevanz haben Pectus excavatum (Trichterbrust) und Pectus carinatum (Kielbrust), wesentlich seltener sind hypoplastische Veränderung im Rahmen des Poland-Syndroms, sternale Spaltbildungen, die angeborene thorakale Dystrophie („Jeune’s disease“) und das ebenfalls autosomal-rezessiv vererbbare Jarcho-Levin-Syndrom, die spondylothorakale Dysplasie.
