Zusammenfassung

Das Bronchialkarzinom nimmt seit langem bei der männlichen Bevölkerung den 1. Platz unter den Organlokalisationen der Malignome ein (Abb. 17-1). Das mittlere Sterbealter der Patienten mit Bronchialkarzinom liegt in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland bei 67 Jahren für Männer und bei ungefähr 70 Jahren für Frauen.
