Zusammenfassung

Primäre Hirntumoren gehen vom Gehirn oder den Hirnhäuten aus. Die initialen klinischen Symptome sind Folge einer raumfordernden Wirkung (Kopfschmerzen, Übelkeit, Erbrechen, Bewußtseinstrü-bung) oder einer lokalen Kompression und Irritation des benachbarten Gewebes (sensomotorische Ausfälle, neuropsychologische Störungen, epileptische Anfälle).
