Zusammenfassung
Die funikuläre Myelose ist die spinale Ausprägung eines Vitamin-B12- oder seltener eines Folsäureman-gelzustands. Häufigste Ursache ist eine gestörte Resorption von Vitamin B12 bei chronisch atrophischer Gastritis mit Intrinsic-factor-Mangel. In erster Linie kommt es zu einer symmetrischen Demyelinisie-rung der Hinterstränge und Pyramidenbahnen. Wichtigste Begleiterkrankung ist eine makrozytäre Anämie. Die funikuläre Myelose ist eine behandelbare Erkrankung; in den meisten Fällen ist eine lebenslange Substitutionstherapie notwendig.
