Zusammenfassung

Unter Thrombolyse versteht man die Auflösung eines Thrombus durch Auflösung des zugrundeliegenden Fibringerüsts (Fibrinolyse). Eine Thrombolyse kann spontan ohne äußeres Zutun vonstatten gehen („Spontanlyse“). Von arterieller „systemischer Lyse“ spricht man, wenn medikamentös, d. h. durch intravenöse Applikation eines Lytikums, ein arterieller Thrombus (oder auch Embolus) aufgelöst werden soll.
