Zusammenfassung
Die Aufrechterhaltung des Wasser-, Elektrolyt- (Salz-) und Säure-Basen-Gleichgewichts ist für unseren Organismus lebensnotwendig. Den größten Teil des Körpergewichts nimmt Wasser ein, das in und zwischen den Zellen sowie in den Blutgefäßen als Plasmawasser gespeichert ist. 75% des Gewichtes eines Neugeborenen sind Wasser. Beim Erwachsenen macht das Wasser immer noch ca. 60% des Körpergewichts aus.
