Zusammenfassung
Nach DIN 16920 wird unter einem Grundstoff (frühere Bezeichnung „Bindemittel“) der Klebstoffbestandteil verstanden, der die Eigenschaft der Klebschicht wesentlich bestimmt oder mitbestimmt. Es handelt sich also um die Monomere, Prepolymere (vorvernetzte Monomere als Vorstufe zu Polymeren) oder Polymere, die an der Ausbildung der Klebschicht beteiligt sind, d.h. die das Grundgerüst der makromolekularen Struktur bilden.
