Zusammenfassung

Zwischen dem 1. und 12. Lebensmonat nimmt das Körpergewicht von ca. 3 auf 10 kg und die Länge von ca. 50 auf ca. 80 cm zu. Gleichzeitig findet eine schnelle Reifung des Nervensystems statt. Im Alter von 1 Monat beginnt das normale Kind einem Gegenstand mit dem Blick zu folgen und kann den Kopf eine kurze Zeit hochhalten. Es führt keine gerichteten Bewegungen mit Armen oder Beinen aus. Mit 1 Jahr hat das Kind einen gut entwickelten Pinzettengriff, kann (fast) gehen und einzelne Wörter sprechen.
