Zusammenfassung
Durch die kontroverse Diskussion um den Füllungswerkstoff Amalgam und den Wunsch vieler Patienten nach unsichtbaren Füllungen hat in den vergangenen Jahren der Einsatz zahnfarbener Füllungsmaterialien stark zugenommen. Dem Zahnarzt stehen heute an zahnfarbenen Restaurationsmaterialien herkömmliche Feinhybridkomposite, mehr oder weniger stark modifizierte Komposite in Form von Kompomeren, Polyglas-Materialien und Ormoceren sowie verschiedene Keramik- bzw. Glaskeramik-Materialien zur Verfügung.
