Zusammenfassung
Die postnatale Toxoplasma-Infektion des Menschen — also auch die Infektion der Schwangeren — erfolgt durch orale Aufnahme von generativ entstandenen Oozysten aus Katzenkot (Schmierinfektion), häufiger aber noch durch den Genuß von zystenhaltigem, ungenügend erhitztem Fleisch, meist von Schwein.
