Molybdate Hydrates with Chromium

Abstract

The coprecipitate of the two hydroxides is formed by reducing a methanolic mixture of CrCl3 and MoCl5 with zinc amalgam and adding methanolic KOH. The Mo concentration reaches up to Cr:Mo=10.
