Zusammenfassung

Alle Talgdrüsenläppchen, die einen Haarfollikel im oberen Anteil umgeben, bilden zusammen eine Talgdrüse. Die Talgdrüsenläppchen sind über einen oder mehrere Talgdrüsenausführungsgänge mit dem Infundibulum des Haarfollikels verbunden. Morphologisch bestehen Talgdrüsenläppchen aus einer peripheren undifferenzierten germinativen Zellschicht und den zentral gelegenen ausdifferenzierten vakuolisierten Sebozyten. Das Zytoplasma der ausdifferenzierten Talgdrüsenzellen ist vollständig mit kleinen Lipidvakuolen ausgefüllt, die den zentral gelegenen Zellkern mehrfach eindellen. In Richtung des Talgdrüsenausführungsganges ist eine zunehmende Pyknose der Zellkerne und Desintegration der äußeren Zellmembran zu beobachten. Die gesamte kernlose Talgdrüsenzelle wird als Talg in den Haarfollikel abgegeben. Dieser Vorgang stellt eine holokrine Sekretion dar.
