Zusammenfassung
Zahlreiche einer Lasertherapie zugänglichen Veränderungen des Hautorgans treten bevorzugt an der Altershaut auf oder kumulieren in ihrer Anzahl mit zunehmenden Lebensjahren. Sie werden daher assoziativ mit entsprechenden Präfixen z. B. als „senile“ Angiome oder „senile“ Talgdrüsenhyperplasien und gemeinhin auch als „Alterswarzen“; „Altersflecken“ u. a. bezeichnet. Die Entfernung dieser oft kosmetisch störenden und mit dem Bild der alternden Haut verknüpften benignen Läsionen trägt dem vielfachen Wunsch Rechnung, die sichtbare Hautoberfläche jünger, glatter oder „makellos“ erscheinen zu lassen. Die Auswahl heute verfügbarer Lasersysteme ermöglicht deren Einsatz aber nicht nur zur Beseitigung derartig bereits im mittleren Erwachsenenalter und bis in das hohe Senium fortgesetzt auftretender Neubildungen, sondern auch zur Behandlung aktinischer Spätschäden, insbesondere zur Glättung des vergröberten Hautreliefs und feiner Faltenbildungen im Rahmen der elastostisch veränderten Altershaut.
