Zusammenfassung

Die Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI) befasst sich mit der Konzeption, Entwicklung, Einführung, Wartung und Nutzung von Systemen der computergestützten Informationsverarbeitung (IV) im Betrieb und in unternehmensübergreifenden Netzen. Die aus der Sicht der WI zentralen Komponenten sind die betrieblichen Anwendungssysteme (AS). Sie helfen dem Anwender im Unternehmen bei der Bewältigung seiner Aufgaben.
