Im Verlauf der Substitutionsbehandlung müssen unangemeldete, stichprobenartige, qualitative Kontrollen des Konsums psychotroper Substanzen und des Alkoholkonsums durchgeführt werden. Monitoring des Nebenkonsums gelingt durch die zusammenfassende Bewertung von klinischer Untersuchung, Anamneseerhebung und klinisch-chemischem Labornachweis.
