Zusammenfassung

Das im vorhergehenden Kapitel eingeführte Konzept der Transformationskurve für Konsumleistungen und Gesundheit legt eine Reihe von Fragestellungen nahe, die für die Gesundheitspolitik von erheblicher Bedeutung sind. Zur Illustration sei die Zunahme der Lebenserwartung in verschiedenen Industrieländern herausgegriffen (vgl. Tab. 4.1).
