Wenn man versucht, zwischen den Begriffen „Gesundheit“ und „Ökonomie“ eine Verbindung herzustellen, so fallen einem wohl als erstes zwei Allgemeinplätze ein:

„Gesundheit ist das höchste Gut, und um die Gesundheit zu erhalten, ist nichts zu teuer.“

„Das Gesundheitswesen ist in einer Krise: Wenn die Kosten weiter im bisherigen Tempo steigen, können wir uns die Gesundheit bald nicht mehr leisten.“
