Single-Mode Self-Homodyne Tomography with Empty Cavity

Abstract

A self-homodyne detection scheme with empty cavity is proposed to perform quantum tomography of single-mode which have a strong mean field. The local oscillator used in conventional homodying is not needed in the proposed scheme and the overall quantum efficiency can be improved.
