Summary
This videofilm shows our treatment in cases of chronic instability of the ankle joint. We only use part of the tendon of the musculus peroneus longus or brevis. In addition to presenting basic anatomical and pathogenetic information, we demonstrate the surgical procedure itself and our follow-up treatment. In all, 108 hospitalized patients underwent the same procedure and were carefully examined 2 years after operation. Excellent results were found in more than 93%.
Zusammenfassung
Der Videofilm zeigt unser Behandlungskonzept bei der chronischen Außenbandinsuffizienz am oberen Sprunggelenk unter Verwendung nur eines Teiles der Sehne des musculus peroneus longus oder brevis. Neben den GrundIagen (Anatomie, Unfallmechanismus) wird der Operationsablauf und unser Nachbehandlungskonzept dargestellt. 108 Patienten wurden operiert und 2 Jahre nach der Operation untersucht. Sehr gute/gute Ergebnisse fanden sich bei mehr als 93% der Patienten.
