Zusammenfassung
In Kapitel 7 wurden Rechteckelemente und krummlinig berandete Viereckelemente vorgestellt. In einem allgemeinen Finite-Elemente-Programm wird man krummlinig berandete Viereckelemente bevorzugt einsetzen, zumal sie als Sonderfälle auch Rechteckelemente enthalten. Mit dem Algorithmus für krummlinig berandete Elemente läßt sich auch ohne weiteres ein gegenüber dem globalen Koordinatensystem gedrehtes Rechteckelement erfassen, da die Drehung durch die Abbildungsvorschrift automatisch berücksichtigt wird. Diese Vorteile werden allerdings mit einem höheren Aufwand bei der Ermittlung der Elementmatrizen erkauft, da durchgängig numerisch integriert werden muß.
