Abstract
The introductory chapters have already revealed that the fatigue phenomenon is a complicating interplay of point defects, microstructure, domains, and the external boundary conditions. This chapter is devoted to a summary of macroscopic data on one particular material during electrical fatigue, namely PIC 151. Many of the known results are reproduced in this material, but a series of measurements so far not described in literature round up the set of macroscopic phenomena encountered around fatigue. The corresponding microscopic observations are then displayed in Chap. 3.
