K und W sind in Deutschland geboren und haben als Kinder einer deutschen Mutter die deutsche Staatsangehörigkeit. Sie leben aber seit ihrer frühen Kindheit ausschließlich in den USA, haben seitdem keinen Kontakt mehr zu Deutschland gehabt und sprechen kein Deutsch.
