Zusammenfassung
Belastungsdyspnoe ist ein häufiges Leitsymptom funktionell bedeutsamer Lungenerkrankungen. Die übliche lungenfunktionelle Diagnostik läßt zwar das Ausmaß eines restriktiven bzw. obstruktiven Defekts unter Ruhebedingungen erkennen, läßt aber keine sicheren Schlußfolgerungen über die unter Belastung auftretenden Störungen zu. Hier bietet sich die Spiroergometrie als additives Untersuchungsinstrument an. Sie ist ein modernes und mit Hilfe der Mikrocomputertechnologie einfach zu handhabendes Verfahren, welches eine direkte Messung des pulmonalen Gasaustausches unter Belastung ermöglicht. Die Spiroergometrie wird in pneumologischer Hand (zur exakten Berechnung von \({\mathop V\limits^ \bullet _D}/{\mathop V\limits^ \bullet _T}\) und AaDO2) häufig mit der Belastungsblutgasanalyse (s. Kap. 4.1) kombiniert.
