Nachdem Oesophagus, Magen, Duodenum, Colon und Coecum durch die Entwicklung der modernen Glasfaserendoskope der direkten, vollstä ndigen Inspektion von auß en ohne operativen Eingriff zugä nglich geworden sind, erweitert die Enteroskopie, d. h. die Endoskopie von Jejunum und Ileum, das Spektrum der gastrointestinalen Endoskopie.
