Zusammenfassung
Die International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Health Related Problems l0 th Revision (ICD-10) wird von der WHO herausgegeben und trat am 1.1.1993 in Kraft. Die deutsche Ausgabe wurde im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Gesundheit vom Deutschen Institut für Medizinische Dokumentation und Information (DIMDI) 1994 herausgegeben in maschinenlesbarer und in gedruckter Form. Die deutsche Ausgabe hat die Bezeichnung In ternationale statistische Klassifikation der Krankheiten und verwandter Gesundheitsprobleme 10. Revision (Lit. fl). International und auch in Deutschland wird sie jedoch kurz als „ICD-10“ bezeichnet.
