Zusammenfassung

Verschlechterung eines bereits vorhandenen Kopfschmerzes wird bei der vorbestehenden Form verschlüsselt. Patienten, die in enger zeitlicher Beziehung zu einer nicht primär den Kopfbereich betreffenden Infektion eine neue Kopfschmerzform (einschließlich Migräne, Kopfschmerz vom Spannungstyp und Clusterkopfschmerz) entwickeln, werden in Gruppe 9 verschlüsselt. Der Kopfschmerztyp kann dann an der 4. Stelle des Codes spezifiziert werden. Kopfschmerzen, die in Verbindung mit einer intrakraniellen Infektion auftreten, sind unter Gruppe 7 aufgeführt, andere, den Kopfbereich betreffende Infektionen, in Gruppe 11. Alle Kopfschmerzformen erfüllen die folgenden Kriterien (spezifischere Kriterien sind bei den Unterformen angegeben).
