Zusammenfassung
Das Kollektiv neurochirurgischer Intensivpatienten umfasst Notfälle (Verletzte und Erkrankte mit und ohne Operation) und Patienten, die sich einem elektiven neurochirugischen Eingriff unterzogen haben. Hinzu kommt die Gruppe von Patienten, deren Verlegung zur Rehabilitation oder Langzeitpflege ansteht. Patienten mit Wirbelsäulentrauma oder -operation werden in Abhängigkeit von den örtlichen Gegebenheiten auch auf der traumatologischen oder orthopädischen Station, Patienten mit Subarachnoidalblutung auch auf der neurologischen Station und Patienten mit Schädel-Hirn-Trauma (SHT) auch auf der anästhesiologischen Intensivstation versorgt.
