Zusammenfassung
Bei zerebral geschädigten Patienten besteht ein erhöhtes Risiko, aufgrund einer zerebralen Hypoxie bzw. Ischämie durch arterielle Hypoxämie, arterielle Hypotonie oder intrakranielle Hypertension eine sekundäre Hirnschädigung zu erleiden. Folge des sekundären Hirnschadens ist die Verschlechterung des klinischen Endergebnisses.
