Zusammenfassung
Die Thermodynamik betrachtet physikalische Objekte unter dem Gesichtspunkt der Energie, die in verschiedenen ineinander umwandelbaren Formen auftritt und ein verknüpfendes Band zwischen allen in der Natur ablaufenden Vorgängen darstellt. Das Fundament der Thermodynamik sind die Hauptsätze, in denen die Existenz und Eigenschaften der Energie und der in B 8.9 eingeführten Entropie formuliert sind. Aus den Hauptsätzen resultieren ordnende Beziehungen zwischen den Eigenschaften der Materie in ihren Gleichgewichtszuständen sowie Aussagen über die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen von Energieumwandlungen. Die folgenden Ausführungen beschränken sich auf die Thermodynamik fluider Nichtelektrolyt-Phasen. Dabei wird auch in den Wärme- und Stofftransport eingeführt.
