Zusammenfassung
Das Gefäßsystem des Hüftkopfes und Schenkelhalses macht während des Wachstums verschiedene Wandlungen durch, entsprechend den Veränderungen der proximalen Femurepiphyse. Es sei in Erinnerung gerufen, daß diese zunächst vom Hüftkopf bis zur Trochanter-major-Region ganz aus Knorpel besteht. Im Laufe des ersten Lebensjahres bildet sich der knöcherne Epiphysenkern des Hüftkopfes und im 3.–5. Lebensjahr durchschnittlich der Kern des Trochanter major. Damit ergeben sich manche Änderungen.
