Zusammenfassung
Mit dem Begriff Desktop Publishing verbinden viele Menschen in erster Linie das computergestützte Publizieren auf einem Macintosh. Eine naheliegende Frage ist daher: Muß ich, um in meinem Betrieb Desktop Publishing einzuführen, neben meinem PC einen Macintosh installieren? Die Antwort ist einfach: Der PC, sei es ein IBM-XT oder IBM-AT oder ein Nachbau, ist für Desktop Publishing genauso gut geeignet wie ein Macintosh, auch wenn das Arbeiten an einem Macintosh leichter von der Hand geht und viele Funktionen eleganter ausführbar sind.
