Zusammenfassung
Bei der Erforschung der Physiologie und Pathophysiologie des Castro-Intestinaltraktes wurden schwerpunktmäßig die Bildung neuer Zellen, ihr Überleben, die Migration und das endgültige Absterben untersucht. Besonders im Dünndarm sind verschiedene Behandlungen oder Erkrankungen bekannt, die zu deutlichen Veränderungen der Wanddicke der Mukosa führen. Die Ursache hierfür kann zum einen in einer veränderten Neubildungsrate von Zellen oder zum anderen in einer veränderten Lebensdauer der Zellen liegen. Auch eine Kombination beider Ursachen ist möglich. In dieser Übersicht sollen die Methoden zur Untersuchung von Zellkinetiken, die hier angewandt worden sind, zusammenfassend dargestellt werden. Insbesondere werden die verschiedenen Typen von Magenepithelzellen unter normalen Bedingungen untersucht. Zusätzlich werden einige Beispiele für pathologische Veränderungen diskutiert. Um weitere Ergebnisse und Meinungen zu erfahren, sollte der Leser in älteren Übersichtsarbeiten zu diesem Thema nachlesen (z.B. [29, 43, 47]).
