Abstract

Methods of purity testing are given in “Platinum” Suppl. Vol. A 1, 1986, pp. 54/7, 60/5. Adequate information on purity measurements, such as residual resistivity, are seldom given when quoting physical properties. Generally, recent measurements are likely to be the most accurate, because of the development of various zone refining techniques. The following figures are quoted in the literature.
